According to annotations and stamp on the sheet this impression appears to have passed through the collection of Frank E. Bliss, the author of the most important catalogue raisonné of Legros' etchings. Purchased online at auction in a lot of eight etchings by Legros, from Chiswick Auctions, London on 16 September 2025
